| description | Este artigo apresenta a pesquisa realizada com alunos egressos do ensino fundamental da rede pública da cidade de Balneário Camboriú, no estado de Santa Catarina. Nesse sentido, o tema em discussão envolve a eficiência do currículo e seu contexto histórico, geográfico e social frente a uma pequena comunidade no contexto da educação e do trabalho. Foi desenvolvido estudo de caso, com coleta de dados realizada por meio de um questionário semiestruturado, aplicado a 70 pessoas que concluíram o ensino fundamental numa mesma escola. Os resultados apresentaram um índice pequeno de egressos trabalhando em funções que exigem curso superior. O índice de conclusão ou andamento do curso superior não chegou à metade da amostra. Entretanto, o nível de satisfação dos respondentes em relação ao seu trabalho foi positivo. |
